About
I’m a senior backend developer with more than fifteen years of experience building the systems that regulated enterprises depend on. The arc runs from IBM India and consulting work (2008–2014), through global payments at First Data, event-driven messaging at Verizon, retail-scale microservices on GCP at The Home Depot, and six years at JPMorgan Chase — where I built real-time card transaction streaming on Kafka and led the design of a document archival and purging platform with a full compliance audit history.
Today I’m at York Solutions on the Connection Point engineering team at Maximus, building standardized core integration touchpoints across distributed Java microservices. The common thread across all of it: Spring Boot services, event streaming, and the discipline that fintech and banking environments demand — zero data loss, auditable history, and code that a compliance reviewer can follow.
I was an early adopter of AI-assisted development inside those regulated environments — GitHub Copilot and Claude as part of the daily workflow, with the review habits that make that safe in a bank. I write about what that actually looks like on the blog.
